Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a motivated Sales Account Manager for the Foodology team. This home-based role covers a multi-state territory including Massachusetts, with travel required to serve customers and grow the business.

You will build value-based relationships, manage pricing and quotations, coordinate with local sales teams, and focus on retention and service excellence to drive long-term account growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in the Food Ingredients industry.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or chemicals is preferred.
• Strong relationship-building skills and consultative selling approach.

Responsibilities

• Improve Univar’s position within accounts using consultative selling at all levels.
• Prospect for new business by making sales calls to grow the territory.
• Focus on customer retention and overall customer satisfaction.
• Provide customer technical support and consultant services to increase value.
• Maintain an up-to-date view of your sales pipeline.
• Set pricing and service levels and manage customer quotations.
• Coordinate with Local Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure inventory levels.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety.
