Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a Market Development Manager to build end-user relationships and drive demand across the territory. This field-based role engages contractors, masons, builders, and designers to influence product selection and generate incremental revenue via dealers and distribution partners.

The position is remote, based in Eastern PA or NJ, with regular travel and CRM-driven territory management. Competitive base pay plus a 10% bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Experience in B2B sales, contractor development, construction materials, building products, or a related industry.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with contractors and influence product selection.
• Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-directed, organized, and willing to travel regularly in the territory.
• Ability to identify opportunities, prioritize accounts, and maintain disciplined CRM records.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with contractors and end users to increase product penetration and share of wallet.
• Identify emerging market segments and develop expansion strategies.
• Conduct field visits, product demonstrations, and training to build product preference.
• Generate demand by identifying upcoming projects and influencing product selection.
• Collaborate with regional sales to target accounts and connect customers with sales or distribution contacts.
• Monitor competitive activity and share market insights with leadership.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of accounts, activities, and opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
