Job summary

APPLIED Adhesives seeks a driven Territory Manager, Packaging, to secure new accounts and grow an existing customer base within a defined geographic territory. The role focuses on industrial packaging sales and requires travel to customer sites.

You will build relationships with decision makers, present tailored proposals, and deliver strong results in a collaborative, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful experience selling within the chemical distribution industry.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with Challenger or Sandler sales methodologies.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for and win new customers to increase the customer base.
• Retain and grow sales/profitability with existing customers.
• Proactively assess and validate customer needs and goals on an ongoing basis.
• Develop strong relationships with key decision makers at all levels within an account.
• Use internet, trade shows, and company generated leads to source new accounts.
• Maintain high activity levels in CRM and review with management.
• Develop and present sales proposals aligned to customer needs and goals.
• Maintain detailed customer plans with key accounts to hit revenue and margin goals.
• Maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Team selling with Marketing, Purchasing and Customer Service.
• Support safety procedures and complete required safety training.
• Identify and support process improvements for company objectives.
