Job summary

Alkermes is seeking a Territory Business Manager to cover the Quad Cities, IA region, focusing on sleep-disorder treatments. The TBM will report to the Regional Business Director, leveraging product knowledge and selling skills to educate healthcare providers and drive territory growth.

The role requires 5+ years pharma/biotech sales, willingness to travel up to 80%, residency in the territory, and the ability to obtain necessary credentials.

Qualifications

• BA/BS is required
• 5+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience required
• Must live in the geography and/or within 25 miles of key targeted customers in the geography
• Driver's license must be in good standing
• Must be able to demonstrate or secure appropriate credentialing as may be required by healthcare providers for physical access to their facilities
• The ability to travel, up to 80% of the time, is required

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong understanding of Alkermes products, disease states, and marketplace offerings
• Sell using approved aids, studies, and reprints with healthcare providers
• Identify and call on target healthcare providers with appropriate frequency
• Discuss territory business with RBD and use available resources to expand product use
• Develop and execute business plans and complete administrative tasks accurately
• Exercise fiscal control of operational expenses (car, gas, etc.)
• Collaborate with colleagues in related roles and adhere to promotional compliance
