Job summary

ABB invites you to join its North America Field Services team as a Tender/Quotation Specialist in the Chicago area with remote options. You will develop high-volume professional services proposals for power delivery and automation systems, partner with sales and engineering, and manage pricing, terms, and risk across industrial customers.

You will balance competing priorities, lead deal strategies, and ensure timely, customer-ready proposals while navigating government contracting considerations

Qualifications

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience interfacing with customers; knowledge of contract terms.
• Ability to lead, organize, and plan to deliver results.
• Experience with commercial/industrial customers and processes.
• Knowledge of government-funded projects with prevailing wage requirements.
• Work authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of the North America Field Services commercial team in support of achieving orders, revenue and margin by developing a high volume of professional services proposals.
• Partner with Business Development Sales Managers and technical support to provide cost and price for services and equipment for work scopes and proposals.
• Manage opportunity and proposal screening, development, approvals and pricing processes in Salesforce for active opportunities.
• Balance multiple priorities and deadlines, coordinating with customers, sales reps and distributors; manage cycle times and milestones.
