Job summary

ABB is seeking a Tender/Quotation Specialist in the United States to support the North America Field Services commercial team. The role focuses on developing field services proposals for power delivery, automation systems, and related services, coordinating with sales managers and technical teams to prepare cost estimates and competitive pricing.

Qualifications

• Technical experience with commercial/industrial customers and processes.
• Experience with government funded projects that include prevailing wages requirements.
• Ability to interface closely with internal & external customers; previous contract terms & conditions, or execution experience.
• Strong communication skills and strong negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and planning skills; proven ability to produce results.
• Demonstrated clear thinking with effective communication at all levels; strong influencing skills.
• Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of the North America Field Services commercial team in support of achieving the region's orders, revenue and margin plan by owning and driving the development of a high volume of professional services proposals for the commercial team; Partner with Business Development Sales Managers and the technical support team including application engineering and field services to provide cost and price for services and equipment needed to develop work scopes and create timely, professional customer-ready proposals.
