Job summary

New Season Telecounselors provide individual and group counseling services via a HIPAA-compliant, synchronous video platform to patients across the United States. They work within a multidisciplinary team including Medical Director, Program Director, and treatment staff to address clinical needs and ensure overall patient well-being.

All counselors complete patient, program, and state required documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a Human Services related field and independent licensure in counseling (LMHC/LMFT/LCSW) in the state of practice.
• Minimum 1 year of licensure at time of hire.
• Knowledge of substance abuse treatment, intensive outpatient, and telecounseling.

Responsibilities

• Performs individual and group counseling via synchronous video communication.
• Educates patients in treatment, health issues and steps to recovery.
• Completes patient documentation and treatment plans within required time frames.
• Maintains HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 compliance and completes required forms.
