Job summary
New Season is seeking Telecounselors to provide individual and group counseling via a HIPAA-compliant, synchronous video platform to patients served by our clinics across the United States. Telecounselors work with a multidisciplinary team to meet clinical needs and ensure comprehensive documentation.
This role allows remote work, subject to program leadership approval and policy requirements; licensure in the state of practice is required (LMHC/LMFT/LCSW) and a Master's in a Human Services
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a Human Services field and an active counseling license in the state of practice.
- Licensed as LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW in the supported state.
- Experience in substance abuse, intensive outpatient, group, and telecounseling.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling via synchronous video.
- Educate patients on treatment, health issues, and recovery steps.
- Complete required documentation in EHR and state systems within deadlines.
- Coordinate intake, admission, discharge and transfer paperwork.
- Maintain compliance with policies and confidentiality regulations.
- Collaborate with clinic leadership and treatment team.
- Participate in weekly treatment team meetings.
- Report abuse, grievances, and coordinate urine drug screens.
