Job summary

New Season is seeking Telecounselors to provide individual and group counseling via a HIPAA-compliant video platform for patients across the United States. Counselors work with a multidisciplinary team to address clinical needs and ensure timely documentation.

Remote work may be arranged at leadership's discretion and per policy. Qualified candidates will hold a Master’s degree in a Human Services field and independent licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC or equivalent) in the state they will support,

Qualifications

Master's degree in a Human Services related field and independent licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC or equivalent) in the supporting state.
Experience in substance abuse, Intensive Outpatient, Group, and telecounseling.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multitask, work independently, and be dependable.

Responsibilities

Performs individual and group counseling via synchronous video communication.
Educates patients on treatment, health issues and steps to recovery.
Completes patient assessments, treatment plans, notes and documentation within required time frames.
Ensures compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
Coordinates urine drug screens with clinic liaisons and completes documentation.
