Job summary

New Season is seeking a Telecounselor I to provide individual counseling via a HIPAA-compliant video platform to patients in clinics across the United States. This role may allow remote work and requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including Medical Director and Counselors, to address clinical needs and support patient well‑being.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's in a Human Services field, licensure (LMHC/LCSW/LMFT or equivalent) in the supported state, and prior

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a Human Services related field is required.
• Current independent counseling license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT or equivalent) in the supported state is preferred, with at least 1 year at current license level; consideration may be given to Registered Interns under supervision who will obtain licensure within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling via synchronous video for assigned patients.
• Educate patients on treatment, health issues, and steps to recovery.
• Maintain 50% direct patient contact hours per month.
• Complete telecounseling screenings, psychosocials, DAP notes, and treatment plans within required timeframes.
• Document intake, admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
• Ensure compliance with documentation and filed records in the EHR and other systems.
• Identify clinical/case management needs and address them.
• Communicate with clinic leadership and staff; respond to emails within 1 business day.
