Job summary

AVSystem is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to cover a fixed 14:00–22:00 CET schedule, Monday to Friday. You will support CSP projects across US/LatAm time zones, owning production reliability, automation, and incident response across Kubernetes-based environments in the cloud and on-premises.

Strong Linux, Kubernetes, and scripting skills are essential. You will collaborate with international customers, continuously improve observability, and participate in on-call rotations after

Qualifications

• Production Linux systems experience as an SRE/DevOps or sysadmin.
• Automation scripting with Python/Go; Bash for small tasks.
• Kubernetes with at least one public cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Monitoring/logging experience: Prometheus stack or Loki; alternatives like Zabbix/Splunk/ELK.
• Ability to judge outputs from coding agents and avoid unsafe production changes.
• Fluent English and proficiency in Polish.

Responsibilities

• Own problems end to end: frame, decide, direct agents, verify, and run in production.
• Learn telco domain: operator networks, product impact, and cost of failed rollouts.
• Collaborate with US/LatAm customers during their day; perform upgrades/migrations in scope.
• Build and maintain automation to reduce toil.
• Identify and fix performance/reliability issues; lead blameless postmortems.
• Improve observability stack (Prometheus, Loki, Grafana) and SLI dashboards.
• Work with development teams on feature design for operability.
• After onboarding, participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (paid).
