Job summary

PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Technology Engineer in the Site Reliability Engineering Center (SRC) to support mission-critical applications in a 24x7 enterprise environment from the Birmingham, AL area.

The role focuses on production stability, incident remediation, and continuous reliability improvement across distributed platforms. You will lead incident bridges, perform RCA, manage changes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve MTTR and system resilience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in technology engineering or site reliability.
• Strong incident management, RCA, and change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in P1/P2 incident response and bridges.
• Triage, troubleshoot, and restore services across layers.
• Perform RCA and drive permanent remediation.
• Develop monitoring dashboards and optimize alerts.
• Support production changes with testing and rollback plans.
• Participate in CAB and post-implementation reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and vendor teams.
