Velera is seeking a Manager, Technology Delivery to lead agile software development teams and ensure high-quality product delivery. You will mentor engineers, define project scope and timelines, and align technical work with business goals in a remote, fast-paced environment.

This role emphasizes architecture guidance, code quality, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on continuous improvement and talent development across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or MIS.
• Seven (7) years experience in a software development role or developer subject matter expert role.
• Three (3) years of Resource Management required.
• Five (5) years in a senior or subject matter expert position.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and mentorship to software development teams, setting goals and defining roles.
• Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Offer technical guidance on architecture, coding standards, and testing practices.
• Foster collaboration with stakeholders and promote knowledge sharing across teams.
• Identify training needs and support staff development and growth.
• Manage risk, drive continuous improvement, and maintain high software quality.
