Job summary

Velera is seeking a Client Delivery Project Manager (Commercialization) to lead cross-functional product and technology initiatives. You will partner with Client Delivery Experience, Product, Sales and IT to plan, scope and operationalize Velera solutions for clients.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project management within financial services, strong stakeholder collaboration, and a track record of successful complex software deployments in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Systems, Information Technology or equivalent combination of training and/or experience.
• Five (5) years of project management experience required.
• Three (3) years of implementations and/or technical delivery in the financial services industry required or current contractor resource in the same or equivalent position performing all job requirements.
• Three (3) years of card processing experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project lifecycle to deliver multiple project initiatives.
• Partner with product and technology leaders to prioritize initiatives and build delivery schedules.
• Architect, design, prototype and develop solutions enabling quality implementation and faster onboarding.
• Assemble project teams, define scope and objectives for complex product releases with onboarding focus.
• Provide timely reporting of hours, status, risks and escalations to stakeholders.
• Ensure proper documentation and change management for policies, processes and procedures.
