Job summary

RedMatter Solutions is a technical writing team focused on PKI capabilities for the Department of War community. The role involves collaborating with engineers and subject matter experts to produce clear, accurate guides, newsletters, and presentations.

The position is fully remote with an active Secret clearance and requires strong writing, editing, and organizational skills, plus experience conveying complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least two years of relevant experience in technical writing or IT/cybersecurity documentation.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly for varied audiences.
• Experience working with subject matter experts to gather information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and document formatting.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and update technical documentation including user guides and configuration guides.
• Translate technical information into clear content for end users and administrators.
• Support documentation for PKI implementation and DoD initiatives.
• Compile newsletters using stakeholder content and templates.
• Prepare white papers, briefings, and other materials for DoD PKI.
• Create presentation materials, agendas, and meeting minutes.
• Review documents for grammar, clarity, and formatting consistency.
• Track revisions and coordinate reviews and approvals before publication.
• Maintain current, organized documentation and knowledge resources.
