Job summary

Concept Solutions, LLC in Reston, VA (remote) seeks a detail-oriented Technical Writer & Knowledge Manager to support a Department of War modernization program. You will document operations, maintain runbooks, and manage the knowledge base used by support teams.

The role requires 3+ years in technical writing or knowledge management, experience with Confluence and Jira, and an active Secret clearance. Remote, full-time with DC area travel possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing or knowledge management supporting software operations teams.
• Experience using Confluence and Jira for documentation, knowledge management, and team collaboration.
• Ability to develop and maintain clear, organized technical and operational documentation.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, capture, and maintain technical documentation, including operational runbooks, known-issue lists, interface documentation, and the application portfolio's sustainment baseline deliverable.
• Own and maintain the knowledge base used by support analysts and the on-call support rotation, ensuring information remains accurate, organized, and accessible.
• Maintain the monthly status report template and coordinate the documentation inputs needed for consistent program reporting.
• Support knowledge sharing and documentation practices that enable efficient application sustainment and continuity of operations.
