Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Technical Writer/Editor (Edifecs) for a 100% remote role supporting VA applications and cloud migration. The candidate will write and edit manuals, reports, and SOPs, coordinating with SMEs and other writers to ensure accurate, user-friendly documentation.

Required are a Bachelor's in Computer Science or Engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience, with strong writing, editing, and document-control skills. Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, and Visio is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience; additional eight years may substitute for education.
• Experience with Edifecs is a plus.
• Experience editing and coordinating work of multiple writers or contributors.

Responsibilities

• Writes and updates material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related publications.
• Refines work of writers and coordinates activities of writers engaged in preparing technical material.
• Maintains knowledge of industry practices and standards.
• Translates complex technical information into clear documentation.
