ABB is seeking a Technical Training professional in the United States (remote) to lead training programs for electrical/technical audiences. You will collaborate with SMEs, develop content, and deliver both in-person and virtual sessions, while coordinating logistics and maintaining high-quality training materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering plus minimum 6 years of experience in electrical and/or technical industry.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution system equipment and applications, highly desirable.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Self-sufficiency and motivation—you take initiative and own your outcomes.
• Travel up to 30% across North America.
• Ability to work independently from any location.
• Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the training journey.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify learning needs and develop accurate and relevant training content.
• Lead a hybrid model of training between themselves and subject matter experts to ensure effective delivery of technical training programs.
• Develop materials, coordinate logistics, and tailor content to audience needs; Facilitate in-person and virtual sessions with clarity, confidence, and technical depth; Gather feedback, assess effectiveness, and continuously improve content.
