Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a remote Technical Trainer to develop, deliver, and continuously improve high-quality training programs for operational workflows, technical systems, software applications, and hardware devices.

Responsibilities include creating clear training materials, delivering engaging sessions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure content remains accurate and aligned with program objectives, driving user adoption and mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, Communications, IT or related field and 5 yrs experience (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years experience developing training content/knowledge materials.
• Experience delivering classroom, virtual, or webinar training to diverse audiences.
• Experience supporting government/enterprise tech environments preferred.
• Strong multitasking and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to translate complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update instructor-led, virtual and self-paced training materials, KBs, SOPs, and learning resources.
• Deliver engaging training sessions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Translate complex concepts into clear, user-friendly content.
• Collaborate with program management, operations, product managers, technicians, and engineers to identify training needs.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and drive improvements for learner engagement.
• Ensure materials stay current with system changes and evolving processes.
• Support new technology implementations and system releases through training content.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to boost workforce readiness and mission success.
