Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a remote Technical Trainer to develop, deliver, and continuously improve high-quality training programs focused on operational workflows, systems, software, and hardware. You will create clear training content, deliver sessions to diverse audiences, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with evolving system capabilities and business processes.

The role emphasizes strong writing and presentation skills, with core hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, Communications, Technical Writing, Information Technology, or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience developing training content, technical documentation, or knowledge materials.
• Experience delivering classroom, virtual, or webinar-based training to diverse audiences.
• Experience supporting operational, technical, healthcare IT, government, or enterprise technology environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update instructor-led training, virtual training, Knowledge Base (KB) articles, SOPs, and other learning resources.
• Deliver engaging and professional training sessions to technical and non-technical audiences using instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced formats.
• Translate complex concepts into clear, user-friendly content.
• Collaborate with program management, operations, product managers, technicians, engineers, and training team to identify needs and solutions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements to increase engagement and knowledge retention.
