Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. is seeking a Technical Service Representative for the Equipment Support Team. The role focuses on remote technical troubleshooting, supporting customers, delivery drivers, and internal teams across North America, with overnight 10-hour shifts Thursday through Sunday.

You will assist with cryogenic and other industrial gas equipment, monitor alarms, document issues, and coordinate service requests, while traveling up to 5% domestically.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Previous technical, mechanical, equipment maintenance, operations, or troubleshooting experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical troubleshooting and support to customers, delivery drivers, Sales, Engineering, and other internal departments.
• Support safe, reliable, and efficient operation of customer equipment and systems.
• Evaluate incoming technical issues and coordinate appropriate response.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues by phone using resources and data.
• Monitor alarms and document issues in SAP and other systems.
• Coordinate service requests and follow-up to ensure completion.
• Handle environmental incidents, product loss credits, and other operational tasks.
• Respond to Engineering and Sales requests to support customers and prospects.
• Prioritize multiple issues to optimize scheduling and minimize interruptions.
• Communicate with customers and teams about status and next steps.
