Job summary

Daktronics is seeking a Technical Support Student to assist customers with Daktronics products and solutions. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, document actions in Salesforce, and participate in training to expand technical knowledge in a remote/home-office setup based in Sioux Falls, SD.

The role offers part-time hours during the academic year and up to full-time in summer, with pay ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience with phone support or troubleshooting electronics/networks is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivation and discretion in judgment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customers’ requests for technical support via incoming calls, community requests, and emails.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software technical issues with logical troubleshooting.
• Use Salesforce to capture accurate detailed notes for all customer interactions.
• Receive technical training on new and different products and systems to support Daktronics customers.
• Provide technical support for customers with Daktronics products and solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, advise on part replacement, and provide operational assistance.
