Job summary

Daktronics is seeking a Technical Writing Student to help author and edit documentation within the manufacturing process. You will work with engineers, product managers, and technical experts to convert complex content into clear instructions.

The role is designed for students to gain professional documentation experience, with remote work available in the North Central Region (MN, WI, IA) and a pay range of $16.00–$19.00 per hour. GPA rewards and a suite of benefits may apply.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in at least 12 credits in a related bachelor’s program.
• Enrolled in English-related program and on track as sophomore or junior.
• Maintain acceptable GPA and provide transcripts with application.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Transform technical information into clear, user-friendly documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and supervisors.
• Manage multiple drafting projects and meet deadlines.
• Continuously learn about product lines and technologies.
