Daktronics is seeking a Remote Technical Support Engineer to troubleshoot hardware and software issues, deliver prompt first‑time resolutions, and provide an outstanding customer experience across diverse systems and applications.

You will collaborate with a team, document actions in Salesforce, participate in after‑hours rotations, and travel occasionally for on‑site support and training. A strong background in electronics, networking, and excellent communication are required for success.

Qualifications

Associate degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred; majors in electronics, networking, or computers are ideal.
Demonstrated ability to learn technical concepts quickly and convey them to customers of varying technical ability.
Previous customer service or phone/call center experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide responsive, first‑time resolution for customer requests via calls, chats, and emails.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues with systematic problem solving.
Collaborate with team to resolve or escalate product issues as needed.
Occasionally provide on‑site support for service projects, events, installations, and on‑site technical service.
Create and update knowledge base articles for internal and external use.
Use Salesforce to document troubleshooting details and actions.
Participate in After‑Hours rotations to provide 24/7 support during non‑business hours.
Attend ongoing technical training to stay current with products and systems.
