Tantalus Systems seeks a Remote Technical Support Specialist to join the Customer Operations team in the United States. You will deploy, operate, maintain and troubleshoot for Tantalus customers, serving as the primary technical interface between Field Operations and Product Development.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting across TUNet, patching software, configuring billing exports, and contributing to the knowledge base and documentation.

Formación

• Diploma in information technology or higher.
• 2+ years of experience in a customer service or technical support role.
• Comfortable in a Linux environment; Bash scripting experience.
• Experience with IP networking including TCP/IP, FTP, SSH, firewall.
• Knowledge of ticketing systems; Salesforce a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and solve problems across the TUNet technology set, including embedded hardware and software, RF and IP networks, database, Linux back-end, web front-end, and service interfaces.
• Upgrade and patch TUNet software on customer systems.
• Configure and maintain billing exports.
• Provide periodic support to supervise or monitor the introduction of new products in the field.
• Travel to customer sites may be required for support work.
• Collaborate to develop and improve processes and procedures related to knowledge base and documentation.
