Job summary

Object First, now an independent business unit of Veeam, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer in the United States. You will provide expert technical support to customers, troubleshoot backups, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.

The role requires strong knowledge of Veeam data backup products, experience with VMware ESX(vSphere), Hyper-V, Ubuntu and Windows Server, and fluency in English and French.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical support for data backup or storage.
• Strong knowledge of Veeam data backup products.
• Experience with VMware ESX/vSphere, Hyper-V, and cloud integrations.
• Proficiency with Ubuntu Linux and Windows Server.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and effective technical support to customers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems.
• Guide customers through configurations and best practices.
• Document issues, resolutions, and best practices for the knowledge base.
• Stay updated on data backups and security trends.
• Support documentation by validating procedures and building lab environments.
• Investigate root causes with internal teams and vendors.
• Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the process.
