Job summary

Vitrolife Group is seeking an experienced Technical Service Engineer based in the Northeastern United States to join our North America team. You will install, maintain, and repair advanced fertility laboratory equipment and provide expert technical support to customers.

This full-time role requires extensive travel (up to 80%), on-call rotation nights and weekends, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure equipment performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Associate degree in a technical or engineering program.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum: 1–2 years in a technical or engineering role.
• Preferred: 4–8 years in technical service, engineering, or equipment repair.
• Hands-on experience with hardware and software.
• Familiarity with IT troubleshooting and networking.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on lab equipment and capital systems.
• Install equipment at customer sites per specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment remotely and onsite.
• Provide timely technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Document service activities and maintain records.
• Travel to support installations and training.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through proactive communication.
