Job summary

Amrize Cement Inc. seeks a Technical Service Engineer II to support the sales force with technical and marketing services across the Midwest. This remote role requires up to 50% travel to Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Nebraska, and Kansas, and emphasizes self-sufficiency and collaboration on cementitious strategies.

The candidate will train customers and staff, troubleshoot quality issues, and promote Amrize products while adhering to safety policies and building materials standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in concrete or construction related field preferred.
• Excellent understanding of the cement industry and ad mixtures.
• Sales promotion experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Support customers in implementation of marketing strategies for cementitious products.
• Train customers and Amrize personnel in cement and concrete analysis and promotional activities.
• Troubleshoot and handle customer quality-related complaints.
• Support market managers on technical issues related to marketing multiple product lines.
• Develop connections with customers, DOTs, trade associations, architects, engineers, and public affairs.
• Lead quality management efforts in the assigned territory and collect market performance data.
• Participate in local and national industry associations and be a technical resource for operations.
• Communicate local and national issues with cementitious materials.
• Promote health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments.
