Job summary

Polynt Composites USA is seeking a Technical Service Chemist for a remote position serving the Western Region of the United States and Western Canada. The role partners with commercial, operations and R&D to support customers with product recommendations, testing, training and troubleshooting.

The successful candidate will ensure regulatory compliance, perform process reviews, and contribute to product development while delivering training and technical support to customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. in chemistry, chemical engineering or related science/engineering field and a minimum of 2 years related industry experience
• M.S in chemistry or related science/engineering field

Responsibilities

• Health, Safety and Quality: comply with OSHA, DOT, EPA and Polynt CHP; maintain safety and housekeeping
• Product Line Knowledge/Product Recommendations: assess customer needs, review product fit, communicate recommendations
• Training: provide customer or internal training and demonstrations
• Product Trials: follow product through customer process, document performance, provide feedback
• Process Review/Troubleshooting: identify best practices, diagnose issues, propose adjustments
• Reporting: write call reports and customer letters
• Specialization: develop knowledge in one or more chemistries/applications/processes
• Organizational Knowledge: access test methods, documents, and project systems in internal tools

Education
