Baker Hughes Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to help drive regional growth by engaging customers and coordinating with engineering and sales teams across the United States.

This remote role focuses on developing technical and commercial knowledge, building relationships, and delivering competitive solutions in power transmission and related equipment. The position supports proposals and bids, guides pricing discussions, and ensures accurate handoffs from inquiry to order.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• High school diploma/GED with at least 2 years of technical sales experience in an industrial or technical environment.
• Sales experience or customer-facing commercial experience in technical/industrial environments.
• Interest in building technical acumen with industrial equipment, rotating equipment, or power transmission solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support regional growth by expanding customer engagement and delivering quality orders.
• Assist opportunities from inquiry through qualification, technical review, proposal development, and order handoff.
• Translate customer needs into clear, technically sound solutions with guidance.
• Develop customer proposals that communicate value, technical fit, and priorities.
• Coordinate with engineering, commercial ops, and leadership for deal review and risk awareness.
• Support terms, pricing, and scope discussions while balancing customer needs and business objectives.
• Collaborate with SMEs to address technical questions and ensure timely proposals.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and clear communication between customers and internal teams.
• Track opportunities and contribute to outreach plans to generate new business.
