Job summary

Sailgene Technology is seeking a proactive Business Development professional to drive new customer acquisition and manage end-to-end sequencing-service sales in the United States. You will promote Sailgene's offerings at conferences, online, and through direct client engagements.

Responsibilities include understanding client research needs, coordinating with internal teams, and guiding the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Biology or related life sciences.
• Experience in plant or animal genomics preferred.
• US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and maintain relationships with universities, labs, and biotech firms.
• Promote Sailgene's products through conferences, meetings, online outreach, and client visits.
• Understand customer needs and provide sequencing service solutions with internal teams.
• Manage full sales process from lead gen to contract and payment follow-up.
• Maintain satisfaction by coordinating resources and pre-/post-sales communication.
• Collect market information and support US market expansion.
