Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Sales Engineer to work with clients in a remote capacity within the United States (CA excluded).

You will discuss and demonstrate Jack Henry products, lead integration and microservices proof-of-concepts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions for financial institutions. The role emphasizes strong communication, requirements gathering, and presenting technical and business value to clients, with a travel component around 50%

Qualifications

18+ months of hands-on experience in a technical field (software engineering, systems analysis, network engineering, etc.).
50% travel required.
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Discuss and position Jack Henry products by showing deep knowledge to business and technical users.
Lead intersystem and microservices implementations and proof of concepts for clients.
Contribute to account solution definitions and review customer operations for process improvement.
Document customer requirements and relay them to Product Management clearly.
Identify technical issues and manage customer expectations through the sales cycle.
Design product presentations and respond to RFIs/RFPs with specifications and quotes.
Improve product specification layouts based on distinguishing product features.
Identify gaps to define alternatives with partners or enhancements.
Explain how products affect opportunities and sales exposure internally.
Participate in user groups, conferences, tradeshows, and other events as needed.
