Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. seeks a Staff Software Engineer who will lead the technical design and implementation of new products or enhancements. This role covers the full development cycle—from concept and design to prototype, code development, testing, QA, and deployment.

The position requires cross‑functional collaboration and may involve remote work, but you must reside within 70 miles of one of our U.S. office locations (including Monett, MO).

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of experience in software development.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with C# or Golang.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with APIs/Web Services.
• Experience with design patterns and SOLID principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product technical design, prototyping, and software development.
• Lead system analysis and timely, high-quality delivery of software to production.
• Provide engineering support for new and existing applications through delivery and retirement.
• Oversee testing and review based on business requirements and best practices.
• Create, review, and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure timely, high-quality releases.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and drive project scope and timelines.
• Mentor team members and promote coding standards and best practices.
