Job summary

Alloy Engineering is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to drive business development in the nitric acid and corrosion-resistant alloy sectors. This remote role focuses on building relationships with nitric acid producers, chemical manufacturers, metals and industrial customers across the South Central U.S.

The ideal candidate holds a Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree and has 3+ years in sales engineering or related roles, with a track record of delivering engineered

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, material science, metallurgy or mechanical engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, technical sales, industrial sales, business development or process equipment sales.
• Ability to travel throughout the South Central U.S. territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across the South Central U.S. territory.
• Build relationships with plant engineers, maintenance managers, project managers, procurement teams, and key decision-makers.
• Identify customer needs and provide technical solutions involving corrosion-resistant alloys and custom-fabricated equipment.
• Recommend materials, fabrication methods, and engineered solutions based on customer applications.
• Manage the sales process from prospecting and quoting through project award and delivery.
• Develop strategic account plans to grow revenue and expand market share.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Monitor industry trends and capital investments to identify opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales activity and customer information within CRM systems.
