Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a Sourcer Recruiter for North American Operations. The role supports a 100% remote setup, focusing on sourcing passive talent for the US market and building proactive pipelines through Boolean search, LinkedIn, GitHub, and open web channels.

You will screen candidates via phone and virtual interviews, manage multiple searches with SLAs, and help drive recruitment strategies across the global sourcing team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of corporate recruiting, sourcing, or research experience.
• Bachelor’s degree OR 2+ years of full-time Amazon experience
• Strong Boolean and advanced search skills across LinkedIn, GitHub, job boards, and open web
• Experience with ATS/CRM tools for sourcing and candidate management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize, push back, and deliver in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Skilled at engaging passive candidates and articulating role-based value propositions
• Market intelligence ability to map talent from targeted organizations
• Experience hiring in 12 tech domains: Full Stack, Back-end, Front-end Engineers; Data Analytics, Data Scientists, Data Engineers
• Familiarity with tech stacks like Python, Java, SQL, ETL, Hadoop, Spark, Big Data

Responsibilities

• Source passive talent for the US market using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X-ray/Open web, and other creative channels
• Screen & evaluate candidates through phone and virtual interviews to assess qualification and fit
• Build talent pipelines through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management
• Manage multiple searches against timelines, benchmarks, and customer SLAs
• Drive recruitment strategies and recommend ideas that contribute to Amazon’s long-range growth
• Create sourcing plans with deliverables, timelines, and formal tracking
