Convergint is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Northern California to join a dynamic team. This full-time role focuses on planning, directing and delivering complex projects in building automation, fire alarm and life safety environments.

You will work across engineering, field services and customer teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Excellent leadership and technical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Expert project management experience in a technical environment (building automation, fire alarm, or life safety).
• Advanced coaching, mentoring, and staff development skills with leadership orientation.
• Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills; troubleshooting ability.
• Basic knowledge of IT networking principals.
• Advanced financial analytical skills including cost control.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, organize and direct assigned projects.
• Oversee application engineering, field installation and start-up.
• Ensure projects meet budget and time requirements with positive cash flow.
• Interface with customers to maximize satisfaction, safety and quality.
• Supervise team with direct reports on high-profile accounts.
• Perform other duties as required.
