Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Technical Project Analyst to support the Technical Program Manager on a fast-paced federal technology program. You will own day-to-day program controls, maintain trackers and artifacts, and surface risks early.

The role emphasizes clear status updates and action ownership, working with IT delivery teams. The ideal candidate has experience in project coordination, PMO support, and proficient use of Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8+ years in business/IT/project management or related field.
• Certifications such as PMP, CAPM, CSM, SAFe preferred but not required.
• Public Trust clearance required.
• Experience in PMO support, program operations, or business analysis in a fast-paced technical environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organization and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Maintain program trackers and artifacts (actions, risks, issues, decisions, milestones, deliverables).
• Monitor schedules across workstreams; escalate at-risk items to TPM.
• Prepare agendas, capture decisions and actions, and update trackers.
• Draft status reports, presentations, SOPs, and executive materials.
• Identify automation opportunities (e.g., Power Automate) to streamline processes.
