Job summary

Stripe is seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager to lead large-scale programs across engineering, product, finance, legal, compliance, and risk. You will drive cross-functional strategy, planning, and execution to deliver complex initiatives that enable Stripe and its users to move money globally with confidence.

You will partner with world‑class teams, define KPIs, manage risks, and communicate progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Excellent analytical skills; you digest complex information and make recommendations.
• Track record of providing program management across all software development phases from kick-off to launch.
• Very strong written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders and leaders.
• Able to drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions.
• Experience operating autonomously and leading large-scale efforts with diverse time zones.
• Understanding how functionality comes together across products and platforms to deliver user value.
• Users-first and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive functional and technical delivery of key team and org-wide programs/initiatives.
• Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers and cross-functional partners to define, scope, and drive large programs to conclusion.
• Develop, implement, and iterate on program management techniques, frameworks, and KPIs with clear success criteria.
• Improve how teams communicate and operate to significantly increase productivity and efficiency.
• Define and produce high quality written proposals, communications and documentation.
• Leverage data and acquired knowledge to drive strategic decisions at an engineering leadership level.
• Create widely circulated plans, driving consistency and building alignment across teams.
• Help influence peers and leaders and build consensus while dealing with ambiguity.
