Job summary

UL Research Institutes, Digital Safety Research Institute (DSRI), is seeking a Technical Program Manager for a remote opportunity in the United States. You will plan, execute, and close complex projects, coordinating engineers, researchers, and sponsors to meet scope, cost, and quality targets.

You will oversee risk, dependencies, and changes; facilitate stakeholder updates; and balance internal DSRI tasks with UL-wide priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science and 3+ years hands‑on software engineering experience.
• PMP Certification (or equivalent) and 4+ years in product and program management.
• PMP/Agile/Six Sigma certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and external partners to gather requirements and communicate plans.
• Lead project progress, ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Escalate risks and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with sponsor requirements and data handling expectations.
