Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Technical Product Manager (Spectrum Dominance) to translate DoD requirements into software features and drive the backlog. Based at Irvine, CA with hybrid schedule and possible remote work, you will own the spectrum dominance software/firmware and collaborate with R&D, engineering, operations, and sales to ensure timely delivery.

Candidates need 5+ years in technical product management in defense/aerospace, active U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical product management or systems engineering in defense, aerospace, or wireless.
• Strong knowledge of signal processing, wireless communications, RF systems, SDRs, DSP, or MANETs.
• Experience translating complex algorithms into structured software requirements and user stories.
• Ability to influence cross-functional R&D, engineering, operations, and sales teams to meet release timelines.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• All employment is contingent upon successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Translate DoD mission requirements into structured software requirements.
• Translate complex LPI/LPD and anti-jam techniques into feature sets for operator use.
• Own end-to-end backlog, requirements, and user experience for spectrum dominance features.
• Coordinate with R&D, engineering, operations, and GTM teams to meet release timelines.
• Travel up to 25% for field testing and customer engagements.
