Job summary

Motorola Solutions’ Silvus Technologies, Irvine, CA, seeks a Technical Product Manager (Spectrum Dominance) to translate DoD requirements into structured software features and own the end-to-end backlog. The role bridges R&D and go-to-market for advanced spectrum dominance capabilities.

This execution-focused position requires coordinating with engineering, operations and sales to deliver robust software and firmware updates, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF Engineering, or a highly related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical product management or systems engineering experience within the defense, aerospace, or wireless communications industries.
• Strong working knowledge of signal processing, wireless communications, RF systems, SDRs, DSP, or MANETs.
• Ability to translate complex mathematical algorithms into actionable software requirements.
• Security clearance: active U.S. Government SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Requirements engineering: translate DoD mission requirements into structured user stories and specs.
• Algorithm-to-feature translation: collaborate with R&D to convert LPI/LPD and anti-jamming into features.
• Product & waveform ownership: manage backlog, requirements, and user experience for spectrum dominance.
• Technical waveform alignment: ensure waveforms integrate with MN-MIMO and StreamCaster hardware.
• Sprint & backlog ownership: plan, groom, and release cadence using Jira.
