Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Technical Product Manager to oversee the full software development lifecycle for assigned products in support of the VA Office of Connected Care. This is a fully remote role located within the United States.

You will facilitate strategy, build roadmaps, and collaborate with engineering, design, data, QA and operations to ensure quality and on-time delivery. Strong Agile, executive communication, and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years experience
• 6+ years applying product and/or project management in healthcare/technical environments
• Managing a product or suite from requirements gathering through testing and production release
• Built products or complex feature sets from the ground up
• Excellent presentation skills for executive leadership communication
• Strong in Agile Project Management methodologies
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Jira
• Bachelor’s degree and preferably Master’s; certifications PMP/ITIL/SAFe Agile

Responsibilities

• Manage the full software development lifecycle for assigned product(s)
• Facilitate strategy and prioritization discussions
• Transform high-level vision into detailed action plans
• Build and maintain the product roadmap aligned with customer needs and feasibility
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data, QA and operations
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and retrospectives
• Ensure cross-functional communication to remove blockers and track progress
• Partner with data teams to analyze usage and define KPIs
• Foster agile best practices using Scrum Master knowledge
• Coordinate discovery and establish clear requirements
• Manage multiple projects with planning, risk, and status reporting
• Lead meetings with cross-functional teams to meet objectives
• Advise clients on solution options and engage strategic partners
• Coordinate with vendors and delivery partners
