Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Technical Product Manager to oversee the full software development lifecycle for assigned products, supporting the VA Office of Connected Care. This position is fully remote and located within the United States, with responsibilities spanning strategy, roadmap, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will manage a product or suite from requirements gathering through testing and production release, bringing ground-up product development experience and strong executive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in product or project management.
• Experience applying PM principles in healthcare/technical environments.
• Proven track record delivering products from requirements to production release.
• Ability to build and communicate product strategy to executives.
• Strong agile project management background and familiarity with Jira.
• Bachelor’s + master’s and/or certifications (PMP, ITIL, SAFe) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full software development lifecycle for assigned product(s).
• Facilitate strategy discussions and prioritize features.
• Translate vision into actionable roadmaps and plans.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data, QA, and operations.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to remove blockers and track progress.
• Analyze product usage with data teams to optimize UX and define KPIs.
• Foster agile practices and drive execution discipline.
