Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the delivery strategy for a telehealth product within the VA portfolio. You will partner with VA stakeholders and cross-functional teams, drive Agile delivery, and ensure successful releases in a regulated, enterprise environment.

This role reports to the Program Manager and emphasizes executive-level communication, roadmap management, and mentorship of junior PMs. Remote work options apply within the US.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive product management experience, including senior/lead PM roles with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience delivering in regulated, high-stakes or mission-critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum at team and program levels; ability to coach teams.
• Experience managing subcontracted or vendor development teams.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and align competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive reporting.
• Familiarity with backlog and delivery tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Public Trust clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery strategy for a telehealth product set and maintain the roadmap.
• Be the primary point of accountability for product outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Translate complex operational needs into prioritized product requirements.
• Provide guidance to subcontracted teams, ensure Agile/Scrum delivery and release readiness.
• Advise on Agile best practices and improve delivery processes.
• Manage roadmaps, backlogs, release plans, and integrated schedules.
• Identify and drive resolution of cross-team dependencies and risks.
• Coordinate across UX, integration, infra, and help desk for release readiness.
• Support product launches and change management with training/communications teams.
• Mentor junior Product Managers and Associate Product Managers.
