Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking an experiencedTechnical Leader to define architecture, service patterns, API standards, and engineering practices. The role focuses on backend services built with F#, .NET, and AWS, and includes infrastructure work with Terraform and CI/CD via GitHub Actions.

You will mentor engineers, lead design discussions, and drive cross-team architectural alignment across Software Integrations.

Qualifications

Hands-on production experience with F# and mentoring teams in functional programming.
AWS experience with ECS and Aurora.
Experience integrating enterprise finance, billing, procurement, or ERP systems.
Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform or Pulumi.
Experience building a team or establishing engineering practices from the ground up.
Background in logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

Define architecture, service patterns, API standards, and engineering practices.
Build and maintain backend services, RESTful APIs, and event-driven data pipelines using F#, .NET, and AWS.
Develop infrastructure using Terraform and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
Collaborate with finance, billing, procurement, and other teams to define requirements and priorities.
Coach engineers in F# and functional design; lead code reviews and interviews.
Align architectural standards across Software Integrations.
