Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Software Integrations team in Houston. You will design, build, and operate high-performance backend services using F# and .NET, delivering cloud-native integration platforms across ERP, TMS, WMS, and finance systems.

You will mentor engineers, lead technical reviews, and help define architectural direction while partnering with technical leads and engineering leadership. This role reports to the Engineering Manager.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering delivering production systems.
• Deep .NET experience with C# or F# and RESTful API design.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Experience with message-based and event-driven architectures.
• Cloud-native apps on AWS, CI/CD, automated testing, containers.
• Relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and integrations.
• Lead technical design reviews and guide system design decisions.
• Mentor engineers in software design and architecture.
• Collaborate across teams to evolve engineering standards.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and deploy in AWS using IaC.
