Job summary

Bigge Crane and Rigging Co. seeks a Senior Technical Lead to drive delivery of internal platforms behind crane dispatch, asset management, field service, and pricing. You will lead a hands-on team, own sprint execution, and align architecture with the Principal Engineer.

The role blends 60% hands-on development with 40% leadership, reporting to the Director of Engineering. Houston preference, remote option for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years leading a development team as a technical lead, team lead, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with C# and .NET.
• Strong experience with Angular.
• Production experience building and hosting applications on Azure.
• Proven experience building and running CI/CD and release pipelines.
• Proficient with AI-assisted development tools and able to set team standards for review and testing of AI-generated code.
• Experience running Agile sprints, with a working command of Scrum or a similar methodology.
• Experience writing release communications for business audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Familiarity with React.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software developers; set daily priorities and maintain coding standards.
• Run Agile sprints end to end: planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Write user stories and technical tasks in Azure DevOps from stakeholder sessions.
• Collaborate with Principal Engineer on architecture and standards and translate into work.
• Remain hands-on with feature work and code reviews; fix critical issues.
• Strengthen release discipline and CI/CD across internal platforms under load.
• Build and maintain integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and REST APIs across Dynamics 365 and Salesforce.
• Oversee Azure-hosted apps and services (App Service, Functions) with Infrastructure.
• Support Power Apps solutions as part of the Microsoft platform.
