High Voltage Software is seeking a Technical Game Designer (Creator Tools) to develop in-house and public toolsets for creators. You’ll collaborate with engineers, artists, and other designers to empower creators and deliver engaging experiences that captivate players.

Qualifications

Minimum one year of Technical Tools Design experience in the game industry.
1-2 years of experience with Unreal Engine 5 in tools design or technical design capacity on production quality projects.
Self-motivated and proactive in identifying design and technical issues.

Responsibilities

Implement tools in-engine or externally as part of a production pipeline.
Break features into scoped tasks and identify risks early.
Architect modular building blocks and toolsets for creators.
Establish performance budgets and constraints for creator-made systems.
Write technical design documentation for internal and public use.
Collaborate with designers, engineers, artists, and producers to improve workflows.
