Job summary

ICF is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to work within a dynamic team in the Centralized Ops, Analytics & Technology group. The IT Business Analyst will support tasks in the software development cycle and manage system data with BI capabilities for energy efficiency and utility projects.

Remote work is supported with a preference for candidates based in Virginia or New York. This role emphasizes collaboration, data integration, and delivering BI solutions using Cognos and Power BI, with SQL

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in business analysis, IT systems, or software development projects.
• Experience gathering requirements and creating use cases, process flows, and requirements specifications.
• Experience testing software, tracking issues, and collaborating with developers to ensure requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of the software development cycle including requirements, design, testing, and delivery of energy efficiency tracking and reporting tools.
• Work with IT stakeholders to define system requirements and design approach.
• Communicate status regularly with team members and present during status meetings.
• Develop understanding of client processes and assist with technology improvements.
• Collaborate with a team of senior technologists to deliver client solutions.
• Provide training and one-on-one technical assistance to users.
