Job summary

ICF is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support energy efficiency program tracking tools. You will independently lead requirements workstreams and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to drive delivery.

You will document current and future state processes and translate needs into actionable plans and user stories. You will collaborate with technologists, developers, and project managers, analyze data with Excel/SQL/Power BI, and mentor other analysts while ensuring audit-ready delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, computer science, or a related field (substitution allowed: 1 year related experience for 1 year education)
• 5+ years in Business Analyst or similar role supporting data-driven or technical systems
• 2+ years juggling multiple projects to meet deadlines
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Support all phases of the software development lifecycle for energy efficiency program tracking tools
• Lead requirements/workstreams, facilitate workshops, clarify objectives, document decisions
• Document current and future state processes and identify risks, gaps, and automation opportunities
• Translate business needs into project plans, requirements, flows, data mappings, use cases, and user stories
• Collaborate with senior technologists, developers, reporting teams, and project managers to deliver solutions
• Analyze datasets using Excel, SQL, Power BI, and related tools to derive insights
• Proactively track risks, issues, milestones, and action items and communicate impacts
• Create system and process documentation and provide user training and support
• Mentor other analysts and promote audit-ready delivery standards
